I was aware of black mesa before-an exact remake of half life 1 with higher quality graphics. Is this out yet? Will it cost? Will it be worth getting this or just getting half life source anywayz?

• Riot Act is a single player only mod for Half-Life 2. Gamers will take on the role of Jamil Lee, a member of the civilian resistance whom has been captured by the combine and imprisoned at Nova.
• For something new, i checked out the mod section on steam. I found some awesome mods for half life 2-riot act and rock 24. I have finished them both (riot act:36 minutes and rock 24: 87 minutes). Yes-i was so bored i COUNTED the time i had spent playing.

It's a third party mod that isn't even mentioned on steam, so it will be VERY free :P It'll be out by early 2010, sorry for the wait.

I wasn't a fan of half life source.. 'Woo, HL1 with ragdoll physics.. same story, slightly different shaped game..' Still an epic game, just played it all before.

But surely that was the point? All they wanted to do was give the game a new lease of life-they had released half life 2 and had the capability to improve the old game's looks, and to bring in new fans. Surely people weren't expecting a complete re-do?

Is there any need for that kind of language? This wiki can be viewed by anyone, if little kids go to their parnets and start saying this kind of stuff, they'll get told off and then they'll say: 'But mummy, I saw it on the Combine Overwiki (this site)'.
